Interested to know if there is any research showing a risk of SAH when taking rivaroxaban? I was treated for a DVT and clots on my lungs and put on this medication. A year later a SAH…any connection?

Hi Paul, @Cameron1 i’m not sure but i would have thought that any medication that thins the blood to stop it clotting so easily would increase the risk of a bleed on the brain…probably only a small chance & better than not treating a DVT. As i say i have no medical knowledge but just imagine that that would be the case.
