The next scheduled Thursday Zoom Cafe cafe is 1 PM UK November 27, 2023 via https://bit.ly/StrokeThuCafes
if you are not technically confident then JUST clicking this link & reply no to download will work - saying yes to download will give you more facilities but more things to get right - call me if you need help 07768 215 335 - but not 5 minutes before. you can experiment anytime
if you know others who might like to come pass the date & time & link along
the SA has recently stopped paying the sub (now I do)
Given its volunteer run i dont see its withdrawal as a saving but it would have been a loss.
its another place to share chat
Lea (@BakersBunny ) ran the stroke association carers - Which they shut down but she’s happy to run one with anybody who wants and will reestablish a regular time if there are a few of you - add a message below and @ her https://bit.ly/StrokeCarersCafe
C U there ?
Sadly i’m not able to attend as i have to work but really hope the numbers increase so the facility remains available.
Sorry, I can’t come, since it’s around 3 AM in California at that time. Jeanne
8 am Thursday for me US Eastern Daylight Time. Putting it on my calendar. Will try to get my body out of bed! If you all would make the times 7 or 8 am, I would still be up. Really just kidding. I would still be up, but I get up for important things as much as I can kick the body in gear.
Obviously this time is set for folk in the UK but I’ve been saying for ages in the invite email I send to people who are on the mailing list that I’m happy to run it at other times, on other days too so let’s find a day and a time.
If 3:00 a.m. California is 1:00 p.m. UK then That’s a 10-hour time difference! I think that only occurs for a few days during the month when we’re both swapping our clocks around; the UK and US change their clocks on different weekends. Generally you’re 8 hours behind in California ( 5 hours behind for eastern time, standard or daylight but that does also change for a few days when clock shenanigans are going on)
I am setting my alarm now for tomorrow. Now just tell me to wake up!
Was great to see @DeAnn and @Ingo66 as well as people who don’t use MSG: Paul Ian Pam
We had a good chat about all sorts of things which if my memory was better I’d be able to relate now but I can’t recall.
It was nice to meet DeAnn’s pretty massive dog and rather large cat. I recommend next time getting up 5 minutes earlier to make a pot of coffee before you pop online?. And I hope the link is now in your browser cache or you’ve booked marked it so that you don’t have the scrabble to find it next time
Had a great time ‘seeing’ you all. Another wonderful group of people! thank you so much for hosting.
