I had 2 TIAs and a more severe stroke when I was just 44. Now 11 years on it has been interesting to say the least.
During recovery, my OT placed me at St Georges hospital where I worked as a secretary. During that time I learnt about coaching as it was on offer there. I took it up and now hold a degree in coaching. I went on to become a Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner.
Now I offer N.L.P. coaching to other stroke survivors as it most certainly helped me to look at things a completely different way. Neuro - the brain Linguistic - language Programming - the communication between those two and how we can adapt to any situation.
