Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well.
My 83 year old mum had a Stroke 4 months ago now. She has been referred to a memory clinic to distinguish whether her loss of memory is due to the stroke or possible vascular dementia.
She has now had 2 episodes where she has forgotten where she is and what is going on. They don’t last long and she is fine after some reassurance.
Has anyone else suffered this before. Are these TIAs or side effects of the stroke.
I’m so over protective of my Mum and need to let go a little but I get so worried about EVERYTHING!
@Kimlouise sorry to hear about your mums situation & totally understand you being worried. Perfectly natural. I don’t have experience of the situation you describe but hope you manage to get some clarity from the memory clinic xx
