I am 18 months post basal heomaragic stroke. I have been left we a paralysed left side and a dropped foot. I am due to get married in 2 months and am currently learning to walk with a foot brace but it is a large bulky piece of equipment. Does anyone have any other alternatives I can try
Has your doc or pysio not told you about fes for drop foot it helps to lift foot sorry about spellings
Hi Gizmo, I have an FES machine and that has helped my drop foot enormously. Unfortunately, I also haveN allergic reaction to the pads, but havethat under control. The FES machine is amazing, but not all health authorities fund them. You can be recommended for one through your doctor’s so check there first.
