I've had to stop taking 5mg Amlodipine ...felt awful on it...back to Ramipril..Any thoughts,please..
Yes, ditto! I was put on Amlodipine 10mg after stroke and felt like a zombie. Was changed to Ramipril and that was as bad. After much to-ing and fro-ing to the Drs, he put me on Losartan (sp?) That sent my potassium levels off the scale so took me off that and I'm now on Perindopril which I have had no problems with - been on that for almost 3 yrs now. I know a few people on Amlopidine and they can't tolerate it either.
