Tonight’s Look North (North East and Cumbria) featured some research taking place in Newcastle into a neurotransmitter implanted in the chest and connected to the brain of a patient who had had a stroke. It enabled the patient to pour liquid from one cup to another which he previously couldn’t do. He had very limited movement in his left hand prior to this. It is the first item on tonight’s (Tue 7th May)programme. Hope it’s of interest to everyone.
