I am using the tool to fix the tool that is broken

Diolch @David3, that’s good to hear. I like that we can offer the empathy people might be missing in their lives, despite it coming from a painful place ourselves.

Diolch @John_Jeff_Maynard, I’ve had the “oh” response before, cutting short a conversation. It also roughs me up a little shaggily when people say, “You look much better”. I feel relatively different each month, but I’m far from being even mostly functional in the scheme of things.

Diolch @Mrs5K, indeed, stroke is a bespoke injury.

Diolch @Pds, glad to hear you got those daffodils replanted, they’ll hopefully come up now every year. I’m very satisfied to be turning to my bees, at this stage all the thinking I want to do is relegated to things I want to think about, not things I have to think about.

Diolch, @Mahoney, hope your spirits have lifted a little now, and the hwyl is beginning to return.

Diolch @PocketD, they can all be contributed to by us all, the more perspectives we gather with this condition, the better everyone may be equipped to carry on.

Diolch @DerekF, I hope they can in someway provide food for thought.

I can relate to much of it from my own experience.
Advance planning is the way forward…
