Robin Hood’s Bay - a village on the North Yorkshire coast. Many of the streets are steep and narrow and can only be accessed on foot.
Tewitfield - a village near Carnforth in north Lancashire. Tewitfield marina is the farthest navigable point at the north end of the Lancaster Canal.
The canal used to go all the way to Kendal but was cut off at Tewitfield in the early 1970s by the construction of the M6 motorway.
