So after 15 months I've finally been told I didn't have a stroke . It would appear a mis diagnosis.
My new journey is for a very rare disorder called Takayasu Arteritis . I have to say I've started steriods and methotrexate and already my symptoms that I thought were stroke symptoms seem to be better .
Wow! So is that the brain or the heart of something different? 15 months of worry and feeling ill warrants a strong letter of complaint (or a claim for compo!) I'm so glad you're feeling better now. The main thing is you have got to the bottom of it and can now move on. You must be so relieved at finding out finally what has been going on.
