There is an article in today's Daily Mail and on line in the health pages about tinnitus which may be of interest to some who have the condition following a stroke. It's about Jamie Laing who is on made in Chelsea ( I know, I'm sorry but the article is good)
In the article it states that 0.5% of the population have tinnitus which I initially thought seems quite low, but reading on it states this is equal to 320,000 people which is a huge number of sufferers, if you have tinnitus you will know what I mean it can be very debilitating.
As we all know there is no easy cure but there are hearing aids and devices you can try, some are quite good, I use a hearing aid which has an added noise, mine is a flowing stream, which masks the sound quite well.
