I have recently suffered a severe kidney infection, which required admission to hospital. I have now recovered from it but am now back to square one. unable to walk or talk properly. I would like support but am unlikely to get any. I am struggling on with my determination and resolve to get back to where I was. Lilian
@l_platt oh Lillian I’m so sorry for your set back it might just be your recovery is slower. Take it easy and I bet you will be back on track in a few weeks. Your infection must have been pretty bad to stay in hospital and I know it’s the last place you will of wanted to be. Sending my hugs

Oh Lillian, how terrible. I hope you recover well and start to make progress again. Any severe illness has an impact on us, as we already have enough to contend with. Take care.

Hello Lilian @l_platt. Don’t give up This is a big setback but rest up, a hospital stay as well as the infection will have robbed you of alot of strength and energy. At least you are out of hospital so can start your recuperation. Wishing you all the best, Julia x

Lilian, so sorry! The absolute most minor ailments, completely knocks me out. So grateful had nothing serious. You will be back on that walker soon. Love David.

@l_platt oh Lilian sorry to hear you’ve been poorly & it has set you back. Hopefully getting back.on track wont take as long this time. Being in hospital is not the environment you need to keep on track. Hopefully now you’re home and feeling better you’ll soon progress. Sending love and hugs

Just wanted to send some kind thoughts
I’m sure your body is just doing what it needs to do right now to fight the infection and once it’s done that job will then turn it’s attention back to your recovery.
