Haha! That made me chuckle
Wise words indeed @SimonInEdinburgh
I shamelessly stole them from the Facebook group of users of the numind app.
My only hope of salvation is that I said before I stole them to the original author that I was going to steal and I’m giving credit to that source here
@SimonInEdinburgh ha ha we all ‘steal’ from the internet , sharing is caring
I like the eagal walking on water!
The last two spoke to me.
Long ago I came across something called age acquired attention deficiency syndrome it’s a joke of course and it goes like this .
When I got up in the morning and I was going to make myself a cup of coffee and I noticed the jar of grounds next to the coffee maker was empty so I filled it up and I was going to put the bag in the bin but that was full so I took the bin to the front door ready to put it in the garbage next time I went out of the house… And when I went to bed and was going to lock the front door I saw that the bag of garbage was still there waiting to be taken out, empty coffee bag was still on the kitchen work surface on my coffee cup was still ready to receive freshly made coffee…
Only thing is lacking is the need to have a pee
I call those my nothing days. They’re those days where you’re running around all day and wind up with a whole lot of incomplete tasks and errands. You’re more exhausted going to bed after a full day of doing of nothing satisfactory.
They’re not frequent but so annoying those days
One advantage to my stroke, I found I could always numb myself from personal emotion and feeling towards doing something as easily as a light switch. I could just switch it off so easily and just go, regardless of how I felt. But I my brain is coming back online more and more, it’s not as effective as it was in the beginning Pity really
The comments are fantastic and make me smile as they are so true especially the car keys loose them at least twice per day found the in the bin with the wast food last week.
Hope you put a keyfinder on them!
I have not bothered trying to find then keeps my memory going at least what is left of it
I can see that rationale but boy is it high risk!
I agree I think I will get one, I have been looking for them for over 1 hour now and still can not find them
Secretly I think the wife hides them well that’s my excuse
I’d probably lose a keyfinder
Ever since the kids were babies, before they even started to crawl, we have always kept all keys hanging on the inside of a cupboard door and that’s where they always go. It’s just so automatic now that we don’t even have to think about it. I never keep house keys on the same ring with car keys. This way I’m less likely to lose them all when out and about.
Why don’t you ask your wife, if she’s anything like me she’ll know better where to find them than you…especially if you’ve ever had kids
We hang ours on a series of hooks on the back of the front door.
Great when you go there and know they are in you pick them up and everything’s fine but oh boy when they’re not there it’s like they’re in the fridge, down the back of a sofa?
Having said that the only thing that’s got tracking device on it is the cat that wanders a little
Thx all. Made me smile. Hubby is terrible at losing things. I tend to be the one who has to find them and I’m the one who has had a stroke! Keep smiling. Xx
