Bit of a setback as my husband had a grand mal siezure last week, it was very scary to see him convulsing then liads of blood came out of his mouth, he’d bitten his tongue but I didn’t realise it at the time. Ambulance came, trip to hospital, 10 hours later back home with new meds which he doesn’t want to take. Now back to feeling unable to leave him on his own (no he won’t have carers). Feeling very low as he refuses to go anywhere or do anything other than walk round the house or watch tele. No idea where we go from here.
@Shazza58 so sorry to hear your husband has suffered a seizure. I xan understand your reluctance to leave him at the minute but hopefully the meds will work quickly reducing the risk of it happening again. You may then feel able to leave him for a time again.
Sending you my very best wishes.
@Shazza58 hopefully the meds will keep him seizure free
Wishing you both all the best, stay strong, big hugs
Fingers crossed meds will work, you must be able to leave him as you will deteri ate as well.
Thinking of you and your husband.
