My left hand, after stroke, lacks sensitivity but is usable. I was told early on in my recovery to use this hand as much as possible. I had a pair of trousers that needed a button sewing on, but I doubted I could do it. I was going to ask my partner to do it, but today I thought, hang on, you could at least try. So I did.
I managed to thread the needle, pull the cotton through and not the end. Taking great care, I sewed the button on. Never give in, never give up.
