Scaredof MRI

Did he explain what the new rules were or why they had changed?  Could you get a 2nd opinion maybe?

Hi Norma - if you’ve got the energy:

Email your GP practice, repeat their response to your MRI request and also say what the neurologist said about it being the GP responsibility. Ask them to put in writing their position so that you can raise your problem with Healthwatch and PALS so that you can get the MRI. Explain that your condition is deteriorating and you are very worried. As Brenda said their rules and communication is not a patient problem! Your problem is getting into the scanner after they’ve sent you the appointment! Good luck, Pat

If it helps, whether you're classical music fan or not, I would ask them to play you Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Put this on with shades some-one else has mentioned and you won't care what the MRI does do you.
