Rant time

The warm summer helped cold pain which comes from lack of movement or heating

I too have head and used to have visual problems as well. I had double vision for about two years that thankfully has gone but the head is the ruination of my life as it used to be. I have been to an ear nose and throat specialist and been told I have crystals in my inner ear that is causing balance problems. If it wasnt for my husband who does most of the housework I would be lost. My confidence has gone . I seem to moan every day. The thing is when it is your head and no physical problems nobody sees the trouble you are in they think you are alright. Enough of my moaning now. I hope you improve and best wishes to you. Alas I rely on my wife for pretty much everything and thankfully my peripheral vision isn’t a major problem but doe make me bump into door post on the left or car doors, unlikely to improve but after my tests in August I will know if anything has changed as I can compare last year’s test

If your vision can improve there is hope for everything, it’s all a time game and the future is not written so never give up remember medical professionals have not dealt with recovered stroke survivors on my peopl at the beginning of the process who are barely out of the stroke, what do they know

Thanks for your reply I had botox injected in to the muscle in my eye to cure the double vision unfortunately it cured the vertical double vision but caused horizontal which went on for about another year I had prisms in my glasses so that my sight was normal. It is my head that is my big problem. But onwards and upwards. Norma x

Ranting again.
Can’t figure out for the life of me why I have some really bad days. Saw the nuerologist today, and despite it being a really sunny day my stiffness and exhaustion is horrible. All he suggested is yet another medicine but I want Botox at this point. And I want to scream to the world -im so sick of feeling like this!!! Rant. Over. Ty.

We’ll done on surviving the stroke and throughout time over come so functional losses.
We have wonderful bodies given half a chance we will all prevail to regain an existence that suits our life patterns

I agree everything sorts itself out in the end. I had my stroke in 2017 and I do a lot more than I couldnlooking back. We should be grateful for things we can do and not concentrate on things we cannot do. Thanks again for replying. Norma
