Worth looking into ARNI (Action for recovery from neurological injury). It's a charity that trains personal trainers to work with stroke survivors. And they come to you rather than you having to go to them. Not terribly expensive either. You'll need to ring them to find out if there's anyone near you. This is their website www.arni.uk.com
