Part 2 of "Finding what you need on the website"

We did a card sorting exercise a couple of weeks ago as part of our work to improve website navigation.

We’ve spent the last week looking at the data and now want to use a new card sorting exercise to test if we’re on the right track.

Is it the same activity?

Not exactly. Last time, we asked you to sort a series of cards into your own categories.

And you delivered! It took a bit of time to go through all the information you gave us. Once we finished, we had a list of categories that contained some new phrases and some that matched existing ones.

But now we need to know if everyone agrees on which pages go into which categories.

What’s new?

So this time, we’re asking you to sort cards into these new categories. You can watch a video of an example card sort below to give you an idea of how it will work.

As before, there are no right or wrong answers. We want to know what makes sense to you.

We are running the exercise from now until Sunday, 5 February. It will probably take you around 10-20 minutes to complete.

You can click below to get started or keep reading if you want to know more.

Not sure if it’s for you?

If you’re worried or feeling intimidated by the “techy” aspect of this, we would encourage you to do this activity with a friend or family member.

But don’t worry if this doesn’t sound like something you want to do. We know this is a slightly unusual ask. So if it isn’t your cup of tea, that is fine.

Thanks for your help,

Ashley

This activity will close on Sunday night (5 Feb). We would really love to hear from as many stroke survivors and their families as possible.

So if you know anyone else who may be interested in taking part, please do share the link with them.

We’ve extended the date of this activity, so it will now close on the evening of the 19th instead of the 5th.
