Opening times over Christmas

If you want to speak with someone over the phone, our Stroke Helpline is a place for information and support. The Helpline provides information about stroke and its effects, what happens after a stroke, or what help and support are available. You may have many questions, be looking for some information and practical guidance, or simply want someone to talk to.

You can contact the Helpline by phone 0303 3033 100 or by email helpline@stroke.org.uk.

Over Christmas, the Helpline will be open the following times:

  • Tuesday 20 December: 8 am to 6 pm
  • Wednesday 21 December: 8 am to 6 pm
  • Thursday 22 December: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Friday 23 December: Closed
  • Saturday 24 December: Closed
  • Sunday 25 December: Closed
  • Monday 26 December: Closed
  • Tuesday 27 December: Closed
  • Wednesday 28 December: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Thursday 29 December: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Friday 30 December: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday 31 December: 10 am to 1 pm
  • Sunday 1 January: Closed
  • Monday 2 January: Closed
  • Tuesday 3 January: Normal Hours Resume

In addition to our Helpline, the My Stroke Guide team will be around over Christmas on the following days:

  • Friday 23 December: Closed
  • Saturday 24 December: Closed
  • Sunday 25 December: Closed
  • Monday 26 December: Closed
  • Tuesday 27 December: Closed
  • Wednesday 28 December: Reduced hours, may be slower to respond than usual
  • Thursday 29 December: Reduced hours, may be slower to respond than usual
  • Friday 30 December: Reduced hours, may be slower to respond than usual
  • Saturday 31 December: Closed
  • Sunday 1 January: Closed
  • Monday 2 January: Closed
  • Tuesday 3 January: Normal Hours Resume

Any chance of a doc in large print or a doc those of us who struggle with vision can blow up more easily with the times?!
