Is anyone else experiencing difficulty getting hold of their medication lately? I ordered my usual BP tablets in July at Boots, my usual chemist, and they have told me they can no longer get hold of my brand which is Accupro. My GP wrote me a new prescription for the generic version of it, Quinapril, and they are struggling to get that too. I read the headlines in the paper yesterday that many stocks of HRT have run out and no more supplies till next year. I'm glad I'm no longer on that (it was HRT that caused my stroke) but it makes you wonder are the drug companies stock piling until we are out of the EU so they can put up their prices? If anyone can recommend an ACE Inhibitor they take, I'd be very grateful as I'm starting to get a bit panicky now.
