Covid causing changes in the brain

As a brain bleed survivor I am unsettled by recent findings concerning the changes to brain volume that even mild Covid can cause. I think of my own struggle in learning to walk and talk again and I’m still struggling with explaining things - I can’t bear the thought of another set back if I catch Covid, and yet more brain damage. Are we not eligible for an early 2nd booster? Any thoughts? Thanks

@Note_to_Self I am not sure we fall into the right category for early 2nd covid boosters. I thought they were only being offered to immuno compromised people. I’m with you on the covid brain issue though.

Hi @Note_to_Self, that does indeed sound concerning.

I’ve had 3 jabs and would take a 4th if offered, though I’m not over 75 or classified as having a weakened immune system, so I doubt I’ll be offered one in the near future, unless of course they’re willing to spend more money in providing 4th jabs for everyone.

Best wishes
