6 years down the line

I was a Paramedic in London for 25 years, suffered a stroke that left me left sided weakness. I had fantastic care from Kings College and Croydon University hospitals. I was told, I would NEVER walk, talk or drive again. I can be quite stubborn, I told the Dr, "Please don't tell me what I can and cannot do". I do all three, and am about 95% into my recovery :). It has been tough, but my family and friends have been fantastic. I also go to Florida twice a year to see friends, except this year due to COVID 19. I am now a stroke association volunteer, and will be hoping to return to work, full time, soon
