Hi guys

How long after your stroke did you get your 6 week check up with the consultant to discuss results of bloods and tests. Just asking as I'm over 6 weeks post stroke but not had a letter yet with an appointment.

Hi,

I had to wait about 9 weeks after many calls to my GP and the hospital but then the consultant didn’t even have my notes, he was going to review my medication but another 10 weeks later I haven’t heard a thing! I had to keep bending my GP’s ear to get that appointment and I’m doing the same again as I am suffering lots of bad side effects from the meds. I’ve realised that you have to make a noise and chase these things or you can end up slipping through the cracks. Get on the phone.
